Prompt
Act as an educational assessment designer. I will describe [your topic and student level]. Design an adaptive quiz sequence: 1. Diagnostic Entry — 3 questions that determine whether the student is beginner, intermediate, or advanced. 2. For each level, design a 10-question path that progressively increases in difficulty. 3. Question Types — mix: multiple choice (for recall), short answer (for application), and scenario-based (for analysis). 4. Branching Logic — if a student gets questions 1-3 correct, skip to question 6. If they miss 2+ in a row, branch to a remediation path. 5. Feedback Design — for each wrong answer, explain WHY it is wrong and point to the specific concept to review. 6. Mastery Gate — what score demonstrates mastery vs. needs reteaching? 7. Write all questions, answer options, correct answers, and explanations. Questions should test understanding, not memorization. If a student can answer by Googling, the question is too shallow.
